Police have arrested a Lawrenceville teen in connection with an October 20 abduction and rape outside of a Walmart store in Lawrenceville, reports the Gwinnett Daily Post.

A woman told police she walked out of Walmart at 1400 Lawrenceville highway at about 11:30 p.m. when a man “came up behind her and put his arm around her neck and told her to get into her car,” the paper said.  The man – whom police now believe to be Emmanuel Brandon Dupree, 19, – reportedly pulled a knife and threatened to cut her throat.

“The male forced her in the vehicle and they drove behind (another nearby building) and that’s when he sexually assaulted her,” according to a Lawrenceville police report.

The assailant threw the alleged victim’s clothes out of the vehicle and drove off in her Kia Optima with North Carolina plates.  The woman ran back to the store where a stranger in the parking lot called police.

Dupree was arrested on Monday after Lawrenceville police found the Kia at the Days Inn about three miles from where the alleged crime occurred, the paper said.
